Northwoods Animal Learning Center, LLC (N.A.L.C.) offers a comprehensive and unique horsemanship school designed for those interested in pursuing a career in the horse training industry, or for those on a personal pursuit to improve their horsemanship. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and study several equine care and management topics through our intensive four week program.

In addition to a Horsemanship program, a wide variety of dog training services are offered with the primary focus of enhancing the relationship you have with your dog. About Our Instructor
Roberta Dzimiela has spent several years training horses and giving private and group horsemanship lessons. She has been influenced by horseman such as Tom Dorrance and Joe Wolter. When training full time, her personal interest was colt starting and working with “problem” horses. A horse named Holly inspired her to redefine which direction she wanted to go with horses. Her goal is to continue learning all she can from the greatest teachers; the horses themselves, and to share her experiences with as many people as she can.

Northwoods Animal Learning Center, LLC (N.A.L.C.) is much more than a horse training school. Our horsemanship program is affordable and provides a well rounded foundation by providing hands-on experiences plus a comprehensive classroom curriculum based on equine care and management topics, theories of horsemanship and equine business management.  Sessions on proper horse care are taught by a combination of experienced veterinarians, farriers, horsemen and small business professionals.  Our apprenticeship program and horsemanship courses are uniquely designed to help you grow and build the right foundation for a profession in the horse industry.
