Unlike many products offered today Smell Guard™ does not simply act as a masking agent or a temporary cover up, instead Smell Guard™ naturally binds to the source of the odor, converting ammonia (NH3) and hydrogen Sulphide into ammonium (NH4) a non-toxic nitrogenous compound that is environmentally friendly allowing for maximum odor control at all times. The organic matter is reduced into harmless and an odor free compound, this reduction eliminates undesirable odors. Just How Safe and Natural Is Smell Guard™? Can Smell Guard™ Be Used On Any Surface? Yes, Smell Guard™ may be used on any porous or non-porous water safe surface, which includes wood and concrete. Does Smell Guard™ Stain? NO… As an all-natural concentrated product Smell Guard™ does appear dark in color. However this is of no relevancy based on the areas where it is intended for use. When diluted, and based on the dilution ratio, you may see no coloring at all. Should any residual product be noticed simply clean the surface with clean water. You can even use it when doing your laundry to eliminate the odors and clean your clothes. How Do I Use It? Being as each odor is unique based on the strength, location and method of treatment, dilution ratios may vary. Spray bottle or industrial sprayer: Use between .50 to 1.00 oz. per each gallon of clean water. Spray as necessary to affected area. Dilution ratios may vary based on individual strength and location of the odor. Smell Guard™ is ideal to use with any automated type of misting system. Mop bucket: Use .50 to 2.00 oz. of Smell Guard™ per each gallon of clean water. Using mop or hard bristle brush, treat surface accordingly. If desired you may agitate until foaming is noticed. Septic Tanks: Either through manual or automated dosage equipment; treat daily using from 1.5 oz. per every 250 gallons of waste. Waste Water Treatment and Reclaimed water: Either through manual or automated dosage equipment; treat daily as a direct injection into the outgoing contaminated water supply to ensure dilution throughout supply. From .075 fl. ounces to 0.50 ounces per each 250 gallons of wastewater. Oxidation Lagoons And Ponds: From 1 oz. to 2 oz. per 1000 sq. ft. (35 ml – 65 ml per 100 m2) diluted in enough water to spray the surface area for the first week and from 0.5 oz. to 1 oz. per 1000 sq. ft. (16 ml – 35 ml per 100 m2) diluted in enough water to spray the surface area for daily maintenance until odor is gone. It is recommended that product first be used as a concentrate while slowly testing for stable dilution ratio. Dilution ratios will vary based on the strength and location of odor. Treating skunk odor on dogs: Use as a shampoo, rubbing into dogs coat. Rinse with clean water. Note: Because each odor is unique based on the strength, location and method of treatment, dilution ratios may vary. Smell Guard™ IS Cost Effective!!!
