HayBoss Feeders™
HayBoss Feeders™ is a revolutionary, no-waste, forage
feeding system that is safe and clean for animals of any size.

About Our Company

Welcome to HayBoss Feeders™! We are one of North America’s premiere
net-feeder manufacturing companies, with facilities located in both Canada
and the United States. HayBoss Feeders™ is a revolutionary, no-waste, multi-species forage
feeding system that is safe and clean for animals of any size. Our
 fully-adjustable, premium-quality products are made of high-grade
galvanized steel, and feature self-locking, retractable nets. The HayBoss™
net feeding solution is sheltered, and keeps your forage raised above the
ground, leading to less waste; it helps promote animal health, and allows
you to more effectively manage your animals’ food intake.

HayBoss™ Junior

Just like all other HayBoss Feeders™, the Junior is made of galvanized
steel for maximum durability. The nets are kept taut at all times with
spring-loaded rollers. The floor is adjustable in height from 12”, 17” or
22”. It is equipped with a hinged roof for ease of loading. The Junior is
designed to load up to 8 small square bales simply by unlatching the net
handle and allowing the net to roll up on the spring loaded roller. Load
bales, stretch and re-latch. The high quality 3/16” thick polypropylene net can be ordered with 2”
squares or for an additional $100 per feeder 1 1/2” squares could be ordered.
Rain, snow, mud, wind and waste are no longer an issue with HayBoss Feeders™.

HayBoss™ Standard

The Standard HayBoss Feeder™ is designed to fit any size round bale or up
to 16 small square bales. It is made from galvanized steel to ensure
maximum durability. The roof hinges up for ease of loading. The floor
height can be adjusted from 12”, 17”, 22”. The high quality 3/16” thick
polypropylene net is self- tensioned by the spring loaded roller, always
keeping the net taut no matter the amount of feed inside. Nets can be
ordered with 2” squares or for an additional $100 per feeder 1 1/2” squares can be ordered. Rain,
snow, mud, wind and waste are no longer an issue with HayBoss Feeders™.
For loading, simply unlatch net handle and allow net to roll up on roller,
load bale on end, cut strings or wrap and stretch net around bale to
re-latch.

HayBoss™ XL

The XL HayBoss Feeder™ is designed to accommodate one large rectangular
bale up to 4’x4’x8’ or can be loaded with as many as 20 small square
bales. Height of floor can be adjusted from 12”, 17” or 22”. Made with
galvanized metal for maximum durability, it is equipped with a rigid
hinged roof and spring loaded retracting nets eliminating slack at all
times. Nets can be ordered with 2” squares or for an additional $100 per feeder 1 1/2” squares can be ordered. Rain, snow, mud, wind and waste are no longer an issue
with HayBoss Feeders™. For loading, simply unlatch net handle and allow
net to roll up on roller, load bale, cut strings or wrap and stretch net around bale to re-latch.

What Is The Pricing?

The real question is… “What are the SAVINGS?” You will save so much on
wasted hay, feeding time and cleanup that the HayBoss Feeder will pay for itself in no time!
Pricing is very reasonable:  Standard and XL are only $2195 and Junior is
$1595! We are now offering 5% shipping anywhere in Canada or the US, and if you order 5 feeders or more we will ship your order for free.

Is Pawing A Problem?

The HayBoss feeder was intentionally designed with 3 adjustable heights to
address any pawing concerns.  A small percentage of horses getting used to
net feeding may paw in frustration (this could result in a hole in the
netting).  If you feel one of your animals is doing this, you may want to
adjust the feeder’s height to the top setting.  Once the horses are
comfortable with the feeder and you can see they have adjusted, feel free
to change to your desired height.

What Size Net Do I Need For My Situation?
The 2 inch net is recommended for cattle and all hard doers (animals that
seem to have a hard time maintaining body weight in pasture).  It is also
recommended if the round bale feed you are using is long, stringy and
coarse.  The 1 ½ inch is recommended for all easy keepers (animals that
maintain excess body weight in pasture).  The 1 ½ inch allows for more
controlled feeding for animals you want to slightly ration.  The 1 ½ inch
is also a must for all sheep and goats and is recommended for all square
 bales.

My Horses Are Already Eating On A One-Inch Square Net Bag, Should I Get A
 Smaller Net?

The size of the HayBoss nets can’t be directly compared to other
non-skeletal net systems out there.  The unique design of the HayBoss net
system ensures the net remains tight at all times causing an animal to be
more restricted than systems they can manipulate all over with their feet
and snouts.  The option of pressure adjustment on the net system also acts
as a feed intake regulating system (the tighter the tension, the more
restricted the feed).

How Do I Load My Hayboss Feeder™?
Loading is so easy... just view our video below!

What Do Customers Say About The Hayboss Feeder™?

We've fed a few bales in our new HayBoss feeder, and the results so far
are better than I expected. After putting 4 bales through it, there's
virtually nothing left behind, and the horses look great! Until the
HayBoss, we were feeding a group of horses by hand with small square
bales. This group was prone to getting over-fat on a free-access feeder,
but with HayBoss, we can put a round bale in front of them and they're
staying in good shape.
 Very happy with this feeder.

Mike Hittinger

I have recently purchased the Junior Hay Boss Feeder, and it is one of the
best investments I have made for my horses. In the past we had tried using
slow feeding nets, but my horses often tossed them over the fence to the
neighbour’s horses and many of my nets went missing completely. They also
ripped holes in the nets usually within a couple of months of purchasing
the nets, defeating the purpose of slow feeding. We find that with the Hay
Boss Feeder they are unable to stand on the net and rip it, plus the net
is of heavier construction than the slow feeding nets. I now have less
fighting and wood chewing in my paddock. My horses are happy, which makes
my life easier. My only regret is that I didn’t go with the larger round
bale feeder.
