Horsemanship Tip
The so called hard mouthed horse.
Heavy hands made the horse and light hands will fix him... with time and PATIENCE. Here is the word feel again; when we give a signal like picking up the reins... the feel part is waiting for an answer back from the horse, however light that signal may be. When we get a signal... could be leaning, shifting of his weight or less at first, we give COMPLETELY by opening our hand or dropping the rein. Rewarding the slightest try.
Habits are first cobwebs and then cables. Jack Brainard
Enjoy your horses!
