Learning Animal Communication from Laila del Monte
My Name is Josie Bennett
After many years in retail businesses, 25 years of court reporting and a lot of stress, it was time
for a change. I met Laila del Monte in January 2003 when a friend had Laila communicate with
her 17-year old cat Clyde. I was intrigued with the process and amazed at the communication
received from Clyde. I didn’t understand how you only know the name, age, gender of the animal and name of his person and you could get all that information, with accuracy.
I had been raised believing in all the possibilities of communication and encouraged to develop
them, but I was opened to even more possibilities. Laila has worked with me on personal health issues and with my animals.
When the workshop was offered, I jumped at the chance to take it. I had seen Laila in action for
a year and a half. Of course, I wasnt too sure I would accomplish much. None of us in the workshop knew each other. We only had Laila in common. We started out with simple
exercises, sending and receiving a word, an image a feeling, and then built on the technique. We
exchanged pictures of our animals so that we could communicate with them. We separated and
then followed the steps outlined. It was very gratifying to talk to the pets person and find out that you hit upon some of the personality traits of their animal.
Laila kept building our skills by giving us more pictures of
animals she has worked with and we would repeat the process. As we progressed with the exercises, for me it became more comfortable. She gave me pictures of two dogs to do who had
issues with each other. I sat quietly and separated myself from the here and now. The older dog came to me and was very
friendly. I could feel her fur and it was like being outside and petting the animal. She told me how she felt about the younger
dog and also related feelings about her persons personality. While I was spending time with the older dog, the younger one
came and interrupted us. She wanted to take over the attention. They then communicated their feelings to me, talking like two humans would talk. I spent about
half an hour in this process. While comfortable, I still had doubts about what I received. When I
relayed the information to Laila, she confirmed the information about the dogs and their person.
I came away amazed at what I had accomplished. She encouraged practice after the workshop.
She sent me a picture of a cat who to do. It was about two weeks away from the workshop
and, of course, I had doubts. I screwed up my courage, sat down and proceeded to follow the
steps outlined in the workshop. I could feel the softness of the cats fur and the sense of his
personality. I talked to Griffith and found it very comfortable. Griffith came to me, was very
affectionate but told me he felt alone, even though he lived with two dogs and two other cats. He
had not integrated into the family. We sat quietly and talked about his feelings and I gave him
attention, which he love, for quite a while. He told me he didnt come to them as a kitten, he told me his interaction with the others and how he felt he felt about his person.
When I conveyed what I got to Laila, she confirmed most of the information I received. Its not
100% but its probably 80%. When in this place with the animals, it is very calm and comes from
total love. Just like people, some are quieter than others. This experience has opened me up
more telepathically and spiritually. I walked away from the workshop feeling more open to my
capabilities to communicate in all forms and rejuvenated. I have spoken to three people this past
weekend that I recently thought about but had not spoken to for the last couple of years. They
contacted me. Opening the mind and heart opens up life. Laila del Monte is a very gifted person.
She teaches with passion, specificity and abundance of information. She is a good communicator in all forms. You can attend one of Laila’s animal communication workshops October 29-31st.
