What Advantages Does STAINLESS STEEL Offer?  

While stainless steel can be more spendy compared to standard steel, it does not require protective coating and is designed to withstand humid environments against rust, oxidation, and pitting with no risk of flaking paint. What Makes Stainless Steel Different From Galvanized Steel?

 Galvanized Steel is COATED to resist rust, but over time that coating can wear away — particularly in environments exposed to urine, manure acids, and aggressive cleaning agents. Once that protective coating is compromised, corrosion can begin. It is a more budget-friendly option coated in zinc to prevent rust, performing well in dry, indoor, or low-pollution settings. 

 Stainless Steel is CORROSION RESISTANT throughout the material itself! It offers superior, long-term corrosion resistance, strength and it does not rely on a surface coating for protection making it ideal for harsh, humid, or wet environments. That difference contributes to its longevity and structural integrity. For facilities planning for decades of service, that distinction matters.

 Are The Horse Stalls Fully Stainless Steel Made?
The horse stall frame/structure and door/windows are all stainless steel; however, the bottom part of the horse stall and door has wood that you would slide in firmly to create a modern classic stall. The wood will be an additional cost.

What About the Doors?
The doors are all designed to slide across the front of the stall; there are wheels attached onto the top that slide inside the track welded above the front stall. The door can be on the left or right side of the front, whatever your preference would be.  If the door is on the right side of the stall, then the pin, which is loaded with a spring to simply pull down and slide the door, would be on the far right of the door which holds it in place. There are door stoppers on the track and on the front stall to prevent the door from sliding too far/off. 

What About the Feeders? Are They Included? 
Yes! Our feeders are designed in a way that you would attach from inside so that you can tilt out in the front with a latch and refill it without having to go inside the stall. The feeders are built out of sturdy plastic and has a big opening for the hay with a small opening for oats/grains on the side. 

Note: Our feeder design is so popular that Elmendorf MFG does provide feeders for customers that have existing stalls.     

Does Elmendorf MFG offer other Equine Products?
Yes! We do make saddle holders, pad racks, horseshoe hangers, and the likes all made from stainless steel! We have had customers request window guards for their barns and now do offer that as well! Feel free to make requests that you may have; we want to help you make your barn a happier place for your horse!

How Quickly Can I Get My Stalls?
Remember these stalls are custom made and custom fit to order! However, after we get your desired layout and dimensions, we do our best to satisfy our customers in 3-4 weeks; it usually depends how big the order is and how customized it is.

Is Assembly Pretty Straight Forward and Easy?
Yes... usually, it’s self-explanatory how it gets installed into your barn but if complications should arise, we are always available through facetime, or a simple phone call would work. Sometimes you will need a contractor. We include all the hardware needed to assemble the horse stall.
