Started in 1985, United Spray Systems, Inc. began manufacturing automatic insect control systems. In the 80's our focus was primarily the dairy market. Early in the 90's a decision was made to diversify into the equine market. Through years of favorable marketing we have become a national leader of automatic insect control systems to the equine community. How Does Auto Mist, by United Spray Systems, Work?
The Auto Mist system has 3 reservoir sizes - 15, 30 and 55 gallon. A 110-volt pumping unit rests on top of the reservoir for easy adjustment of timed settings. The motor and pump supply pressure to nylon tubing and spray nozzles, which are routed in a predetermined pattern based on the facility design. Once installed, the system timer is set to spray on an automatic basis, 3-6 times per day is recommended for a spray length of 60 seconds. Programmable spray times and length are fully adjustable to accommodate each customer's preference. This spray engulfs the facility and kills insects that are present to lower populations to create a better atmosphere for horse and owner.

Is Auto Mist Hard To Install?|
Auto Mist systems are very easy to install. We pre-assemble most components to make the installation process a snap. Only simple tools are needed to complete the installation. All liquid pressure fittings are a quick-fit style, which means simply cut the tubing straight and push it into the fittings, no tools required. Do I Need to Worry About My Horse's Water Or Food?
Safety should always be a priority when using an insecticide. Since 1985 we have been using insecticide products that are EPA approved and labeled for use in equine facilities. Active ingredient strength of the insecticides used in the Auto Mist reservoir are less than 0.1% - enough to kill insects, but safe for warm blooded animals and humans. Keeping spray nozzles out of feed rooms, from directly spraying on food or water and away from hay storage is recommended.

What Is the Mosquito Killing System (MKS)?
In hundreds of tests, the Arctic Mosquito Killing System (MKS) consistently captured many times more mosquitoes than any other machine or product, greatly reducing mosquito populations. Yes, competitors' products and machines will capture some mosquitoes. Even bug lights will loudly electrocute some mosquitoes. But these products do not use scientific measurements of heat release or carbon dioxide, which are necessary for effective and maximum reduction of mosquito populations.
