Canine Country Camp
At our 6-day Canine Country Camp, you will join up to 35 other people with their canine companions. Sports-minded? Get one-on-one instruction taught by teachers at the top of their game in agility, herding, rally obedience, flyball, water sports, disc dog and more. Listen to fascinating lectures on the latest in canine health & nutrition,  and animal communication. In between camp sessions, let your dog cool off with a quick swim in the creek or just soak in the sun while your dog plays with other camp dogs. Your dog can run freely off leash through miles of private trails that wind through meadows, fields and hemlock forests! Relish in delicious catered breakfasts, lunches and dinners and in the evenings after supper, head to the campfire pit for a night of stargazing.

At the Canine Country Camp, you are surrounded with kindred spirits who sincerely care about dogs. More people than ever before in history have dogs in their lives. Dogs are everywhere and join in almost everything we do. A dog is a true companion offering unconditional love and friendship regardless of whatever day to day situations arise. That's what the Canine Country Camp is all about. Here we maximize that relationship by offering a vacation experience that allows dogs to be dogs. We offer a safe place for you to enjoy your dog's real nature as well as learn about dog to dog interactions. Our off-leash approach is not like other dog camp settings where dogs are always required be on leash.

Canine Country Mini-Camps
We also offer a series of shorter mini-camps with a singular focus that fit nicely into a long weekend. But it’s not all work with no play! There’s ample opportunity for dogs and handlers to digest everything they have learned while relaxing and enjoying the paradise that is Glen Highland Farm. This combination of work and relaxation leads to an enriching experience for all participants. So, which Canine Country Mini-Camp will you pick?

• The Agility Mini-Camps provide comprehensive training covering a spread of agility skills from the essential basics to the more advanced levels of handling. Whether your goal is to compete on the national circuit or to expand on your current training, this camp will open your eyes to whole new understanding of agility and dog training. We offer 2 sessions, one for beginners and one for the advanced agility folks.

• The Inner Dog Mini-Camp help  you deepen your relationship with your dog through understanding and awareness. Every dog has a magnificent spirit to share with people. The Farm understands this and embraces the bond between canine and humans.

• The Reading Dogs Mini-Camp helps you understand how your dog 'talks' to other dogs. Through first-hand observation you will learn to interpret what dogs are saying to each other as they meet so you can be a better leader for your dog in a positive way.

• In the Control Unleashed Mini-Camp, learn how to turn stress to confidence and distraction to focus using 110% positive methods. Led by Leslie McDevitt, the Control Unleashed program is designed to help dogs with issues learn how to relax, focus, and work off-leash reliably in either stimulating or stressful situations.

The Canine Country Getaway is perfect for people who like to vacation with their dogs. If you're tired of leashing your dog everywhere you go or worrying about hikes in state parks populated by other non-dog people you meet on trails, let those worries float away. Season after season, guests marvel at Glen Highland Farm being the ideal setting to unwind, relax and play in a totally dog-friendly environment. Your dog can run freely off leash through private trails, meadows, fields, forests and swim in the pond or creek without all the rules and limitations of public campgrounds and parks. The Farm offers perfect setting for you to enjoy a great vacation at the same time your dog enjoys an outdoor adventure.

Stay in one of our dog-friendly cozy cabins or comfy RVs. With 175 acres to roam, you and your dog will feel as though you have the Farm all to your own to explore. It's a very unique vacation experience to have so much land and so few people and even more unique, because dogs can enjoy it all off-leash. We have had guests travel with their dog(s) from as far away as Florida and California!
