Here are some of our popular equine products:

• 2142 - Fly Mask with ears- 2142- The objective of this mask is twofold. Not only does it provide cooling properties to keep you horse comfortable, but it also prevents insect-induced head tossing, caused by the increased exposure to flies.  This style mask has ear coverings for the horse with the back half in cooling fabric,  and the front half in mesh for better air circulation. • 4100 - Full Size Horse Blanket – 4100- Full size cooling blanket.  The top half consists of cooling fabric, which cools the back from the withers to the buttock. This wraps around the front chest bringing cooling relief to the chest too. Blanket has adjustable straps to ensure a snug fit and two D rings for added security. Prior to the introduction of our blanket, the only way to cool a horse down was to hose it down and/or walk it.  The hosing is only momentary, and the water evaporates rapidly. 
  
  Also, hoses are not always readily available.  Using the activated Cooling blanket dramatically speeds up the lowering of the animals core temperature, while allowing the skin to breathe and keeping the horse dry.  The implications of this are significant, not only for the casual rider who wants to improve the comfort of the horse, but particularly for competition horses where more rapid stabilization of core temperature gives the animal a more competitive edge due to quicker recovery from exertion.
  
  
• 2107 - Cooling Boots – 2107- The cooling fabric in these boots cool the horses legs, and are adjustable by hook and loop Velcro elastic for a tight fit. No need to hose down the legs or use icepacks, simply place on horse and monitor every few hours. The boots ensure cooling for a long time period, and are very good for injuries. They were developed to maximize the benefits of hydrotherapy while eliminating the need for constant hosing.  This allows the horse to undergo treatment while still having comfort ability and mobility.  Sold in pairs.
  
  
• 2120 - Poll Cooler – 2120- This product fits easily over the horses head.   It has proved to be very beneficial for endurance and trail riding as it can be worn while riding.  Cooler is fitted with Velcro loops on both sides so it can be secured to the horses bridle. This product has been recommended by Veterinarians to be a must have for hot climates.

How Do Cool Medic Products Work?
Our products are constructed from a patented three-layer fabric that by combining hydrophilic fibers into a fibrous batting core and a thermally conductive lining, will provide cooling after allowing the product to soak in water for 10 - 30 seconds. Not longer.

The water activates the cooling process by charging the fibers with moisture and creating an environment for evaporation. When moisture in the batting evaporates, heat is removed and cools the surrounding area, transferring the cooling effect to the wearer. Depending upon the environment this cooling could last up to 8 hours, and can be recharged again by simply immersing the product in water to restart the cooling process.

I tried my new vest and helmet cooler and love them.  The vest was very comfortable and suprisingly cute, and the liner slipped easily into my helmet and did not affect the fit at all.
