The Buck Buster- Barnes Trainer by Barnes Enterprises
The Buck Buster- Barnes Trainer is a revolutionary new piece of equipment designed for the horse you love that acts up unexpectedly or the horse that is perfectly healthy, but is occasionally uncontrollable.
The Barnes Trainer-- The Buck Buster!
The Barnes Trainer or "Buck Buster" is a horse training device that will help prevent a horse from bucking. The headstall is worn under your existing bridle and will make it easier for the rider to control unacceptable behavior. You can train with confidence. This invention is also an added safety precaution for young riders and novice riders. The Barnes Trainer is perfect for the following:
For the horse that occasionally acts up
- Reduce the likelihood of bucking when spooked
- Easier for the rider to maintain control of the horse
For horses with young or inexperienced riders
- Increase your peace of mind while children are riding.
- Horses are more easily controlled by small hands and by children with less strength.
For owners of riding schools and trail riding companies
- Know that your customers are in better hands when the trainer is used on your horses.
- Decrease liability claims and injuries from horse riding accidents.
- Increase the safety and fun of your vacationers.
- Less likely for a skittish horse to ruin a novice horse rider’s experience.
For horses that have never been ridden or are green broke
- Break your horses faster.
- Reduce the danger of breaking a horse.
- Easier to break a horse.
- A more humane method of breaking a horse.
Would This Be Helpful For My Grandparents Who Are Too Old To Get Bucked Off? What About Children?
Absolutely. We've had many testimonials about people who have quit riding because of concerns about the dangers of riding a horse. The Barnes Trainer will help keep your horse's head up and reduce the likelihood of bucking and horses will be more easily controlled by small hands and by riders with less strength. Barnes Trainer will increase your peace of mind with children, novices, and elderly riders.
Does The Bridle Keep Your Horse From Falling Backwards?
No, the Barnes Trainer helps with bucking and any behavior the horse lowers its head to do. However, it can be used with a tie-down.
Does This Bridle Cause Pain To My Horse?
There is pressure only when the horse begins the undesirable behavior. When the horse is not acting up, it will not know the Barnes Trainer is on.
Do I Still Need A Bridle If I Use The Barnes Trainer?
Yes, a bridle is used over the Barnes Trainer and in fact the Barnes Trainer is designed to work with the bridle and is not safe to use without a bridle. It slips on comfortably underneath your bridle and will go unnoticed by your horse as long as he does not try to buck.
Does The Size Of The Horse Matter? Will It Fit My Horse?
It is adjustable to fit small and large horses. It will fit nearly any horse. The Barnes Trainer is comfortable, your horse won't know it's there-- unless he tries to buck! You can also let it down for watering your horse on the trail!
Note: It may be too small for some Belgian and Draft horses. (We can custom make a larger one, if necessary)
Do You Take Custom Orders?
Sometimes. We can custom make certain color choices and other small alterations. Note: This will cause the shipping time to be increased.
Is It Adjustable On Each Side
Yes, it is adjustable for length on each side and circumference in two places.
Will My Horse Be Able To Eat and Drink with The Barnes Trainer On?
It depends on the adjustment. All you need to do is simply slip the “loop” off the saddlehorn and this simple actioin allows the horse to lower its head to drink or eat, then slip the loop back behind the horn when you are ready to ride again.
What Do Customers Say About Our Product?
I broke my own mustang, but couldn't get the buck out of him especially when he spooked. Well, after being thrown who knows how many times and dragged a few times– and at 57 years of age it hurts for a while–I got the Barnes Trainer. Since I got it "Bud" tried to buck but he was fooled because it works. Now he's another horse and even seems to look forward for another ride. The Barnes trainer is the best investment I have made. Now if I could only find a psychotherapist for my three year old part thoroughbred. He picks on the other horses and eats cigarettes
R.G. from Roma, Texas
The Barnes Trainer saves me many valuable hours. I don't spend nearly as much time as I did to green break a horse since I started using the Barnes Trainer.
Dale Haraway - Trainer (Oklahoma)
The Barnes Trainer is the greatest piece of equipment to come along since the saddle.
Rob Pierce - World Champion Calf Roper- Oklahoma
I purchased your trainer earlier this year but hadn't had much chance to use it. The reason being my mare is what they call a "sleeper". She can be the best broke horse in the world until she decides today is not the day to be ridden. You put your foot in the stirrup and she's suddenly a world-class bucking horse. But not anymore...
This weekend we attended a living history event and used her for medieval games. Much like the renaissance fair games. My husband took her into a canter and she started bucking. The last time she did this he was airborne. This time she could only hop. And then she stopped...totally bewildered.
She tried it one more time and the attempt to buck was hilarious. The look on her face...
Thank you...I've spent thousands of dollars on professional trainers, and your halter solved the problem.
K.R. from Forrest City, Iowa
I bought a well trained mule from my neighbor, who had gotten too old to ride. Problem was the mule had been turned out to pasture for 2-3 years. He bucked immediately when I tried to ride him. Tossed me bigtime. My neighbor said, “Why, that mule doesn’t buck!” So he came over, got on the mule and “Zoom!” off he went. The two of us plus a trainer tried a few more times and ate dirt. I bought the Barnes Trainer, and it immediately solved the problem! I’ve ridden the mule four straight days now, and after he attempted to buck a couple of times, he gave it up and rides perfectly. I strongly recommend the Trainer to anyone with a problem horse or mule.
