How Do I Know If My Horse Can Benefit From Biotin?
Biotin, also known as B7, is required in a horse's diet for the production of Keratin. Keratin is the MAIN PROTEIN that forms a strong, durable hoof structure, healthy coat and skin. Those the are visual benefits-- Biotin also supports many other elements of the horse's physiology, including fat metabolism, sugar metabolism, and exercise tolerance. All horses of all ages benefit from biotin, but if your horse has cracked or shelly hooves that struggle to hold shoes properly, or a dull, lack luster coat, an excellent Biotin Supplement (like ours!) could greatly benefit your horse!!

Isn't There Enough Biotin In My Horse's Feed?
Your horse is likely NOT getting enough biotin in their feed for multiple reasons.

* Many feeds are simply not as absorpable as they should be to get the ingredients the horse is eating into their system
* If your horse is on any kind of antibiotic, the microbes necessary to absorb biotin and other vitamins simply have been killed off in a way that can hinder proper absorption
* Older horses have an aged gut that is very often not capable of absorbing feed nutrition properly.
