Buckley Fence, LLC was founded in 2007 after three years of designing, testing and producing the Alumashield Pipe Fence components.  Prior to 2007, the owner and inventor Jim Buckley spent several years creating a novel aluminum metal parts forming process that was awarded U.S. and international patents.   During that time, he was given the opportunity to create improved connectors made of aluminum for steel pipe fences to eliminate corrosion and improve durability and the Alumashield Pipe Fence evolved.  Given Jim’s creative talent, expertise with metals, and newly acquired knowledge of the horse fence industry, it was only natural to begin design of the first steel panel fence.  The Steel Board Fence was soon completed after passing tests for strength, corrosion resistance and aesthetics at a remarkable price point.   Our tag line, “Where innovation and design come together to create the perfect fence for your horse or home,” epitomizes the culture at Buckley Fence, LLC.  Our fence products are revolutionary and will continue to raise the bar for quality, ingenuity, strength and durability.   



Steel Board Fence
The first traditional post and rail panel fence made of steel, the Steel Board Fence is designed to last decades with very little maintenance.  Made of two-sided zinc galvanized steel and powder coated with architectural grade powder coating, the fence components will not rust or fade, nor will they warp, mold, sag, splinter or incur insect damage.  The steel construction makes the fence relatively indestructible and much stronger and more durable than wood and vinyl. Each rail is further protected with unique rubber grommets to prevent scratching, enhance flexibility and eliminate fasteners. The rails are easily articulated within each post to fit any terrain or layout, making installation simple.  The Steel Board Fence will retain its color, crisp straight lines and well-maintained appearance for decades, while enhancing the aesthetics and value of your property. 

What Is The Advantage Of Using Steel Boards?
Steel by its very nature is strong and durable.  Steel boards will never break or splinter and will safely contain even the most determined horse looking to escape. Steel boards will also never warp, sag or mold. When properly treated with a zinc galvanized coating in combination with a zinc phosphate conversion coating and architectural grade powder coating,  as is the case with our Steel Board Fence, resistance to rust is more than doubled compared to galvanized or powder coated steel pipe.  And the ability to retain color, particularly black, without fading over time is far better with properly treated steel panels then wood and vinyl.   From an economical standpoint, steel boards are a much better investment upfront.  Our Steel Board Fence will retain its beauty and well-maintained appearance with very little maintenance for three decades at least.

Is Your Steel Board Fence Easy To Install?
The Steel Board Fence is very easy to install.  The patented lock spacers in each post lock the rails in place and eliminate the need for nails or screws.  The patented rubber grommets provide cushioning to articulate the rails to easily fit any terrain or layout. The rails are simply inserted in the posts and adjusted to fit the layout and locked in place.  No nails, screws, or special tools are required.

Do You Offer Gates For The Fence?
Buckley Fence offers two distinctive gate styles, the Alumashield Pipe Gate design to match the Alumashield Pipe Fence, and the Steel Board Gate, designed to match the Steel Board Fence.  The Steel Board Gate can also compliment existing vinyl or wood installations.  Both come with our unique patented leveling system built right into the polymer bearing system in the gate posts to ensure perfectly level gates.  Both of the gates can be used with any existing fence and are available in 3 and 4 rail versions.  They come in lengths of 4, 6, 8, and 12 feet and in glossy white or black textured finishes.
