HorseTrailerMonitor.com is a division of Palomino Paradise Ranch, LLC and was founded in June 2005 in Wickenburg, Arizona by Christine Jolicoeur-Smith, and relocated to Aiken, South Carolina in May 2013.  The mission of the company is to provide "Safety & Security" for horses and "Peace of Mind" for the owners who love them because she believes that every horse is worth it!

Christine brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the company. For over 30 years she has worked in many areas of industry and received several awards and honors for her achievements as an entrepreneur. She was a nominee for 1988 Avon's National Women of Enterprise Award, received an honorable mention as 1989 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year from Albany (NY) Women's Business Development Center, and included in the 1989 Edition of Who's Who Among American Women. These honors were received for her efforts as President of Smith Office Services, Inc. of Cohoes, New York, a company she founded in 1985, which sadly she closed in 1992 due to a battle with cervical & ovarian cancer.

So How Did HorseTrailerMonitor.com Come To Be?
Christine has traveled with and trail ridden her horses in 39 states (so far) and knows the dangers, worries, and needs that horse owners have while trailering their horses. Her own desire to find the most reliable, best operating camera system, coupled with a passion for keeping her own horses safe while traveling led her to find the best camera systems in the industry and to a greater feeling of confidence and security while traveling. Wanting to help others in their quest for safe travels with their horses was the motivation for Christine to start HorseTrailerMonitor.com.

Because the needs of horse owners are different, with people hauling various numbers of horses in different size rigs, THREE (3) different types of camera systems are available to accommodate everyone’s budget and needs.

The HTM Basic Camera Monitoring System -2 Camera System:
Our most affordably priced system -- The Basic Model -- gives you the ability to have up to 2 cameras. The complete system includes a 7" COLOR LCD Monitor with wiring harness and one (1) COLOR/Infrared Camera (wide angle), truck and trailer cables (specific length customized for your size rig - select your sizes at check-out). The HTM Advanced Camera Monitoring System- 3 Camera System— our BEST SELLER!
We highly recommend The Advanced Model – it is our best seller! The 7” COLOR LCD Monitor with wiring harness and one (1) COLOR/Infrared Camera (wide angle) with one-way audio, together with a truck cable and a trailer cable customized in length to fit specifically for your rig (sizes to be selected at check-out), provide you with the most security while transporting your horses. The HTM Deluxe Camera Monitoring System- 4 Camera System with Quad View Monitor:
The Deluxe Model is the top of the line in terms of features and capabilities. The 7” COLOR LCD Monitor allows you to view either a single camera, 2 cameras at once or all 4 in a Quad View. The one (1) COLOR/Infrared Camera (wide angle) with one-way audio provides you with the most security while transporting your horses. This system can accommodate up to 4 cameras. System Specifications: Only power needed is your 12-volt truck electrical system.

So What Do The Camera Systems Include?
Each system comes complete with a 7” color flat-screen monitor, truck wiring harness, truck cable, one (1) interior camera and trailer cable.

Cables are customized in length needed for the customer’s specific rig set-up.  Additional cameras are available for back-up and side view/wing options (each camera comes with a truck & trailer cable, when ordered).

All HTM cameras are wide-angle, color and automatically convert to infrared for viewing at night without the trailer’s interior lights being on.

Note: Even after over a decade in service, systems are still in use for many of our clients!

Will I Get Installation Instructions and Customer Service to Answer My Questions?
YES! Installation instructions are provided with each system purchase, giving the client details on what is needed and how each step of the install should be performed.  No question is too trivial to ask and that is why our Customer Service Department is ready & waiting if needed to offer guidance during this process.  Installation does involve a time commitment and attention to detail; however, once the system is up & running, clients indicate they cannot imagine ever again hauling without it, as many of them tell us in their testimonials.
