Ann's devotion to horses is the kind you can measure. Her first horse, an Arabian colt named Cody, was a gift from Bob early in their marriage — and she loved the life so much that she later traded in her own wedding ring for her second, an Arabian named Azi. She has always prized her horses above any worldly riches. More than 40 years later, horses are still her daily life — she manages a boarding stable and teaches riding lessons herself, the same hands-on horsewoman she has always been.
