History of the Halter Hold It:

The Halter Hold It was developed by Jalynn Helsel, who with her husbandLogan, owns The Silver Stirrup Tack Shop in Duncansville Pa. Having been raised with horses they both have a desire to provide the best and safest products available. One day while Jalynn was working her mare she looked away for just a moment and the mare snagged her halter on a bolt. While this horse was trained not to pull this caught her off guard and she panicked. After pulling and thrashing the bolt finally broke. The rope halter would not break but only get tighter.

This prompted Jalynn to make a safer way to use these rope halters. She and Logan worked with some leather companies to find just the right leather to be able to perform as needed yet break when necessary. The Hold It was born. It is plyable enough to tie around, strong enough to use for working, yet will break under intense pressure. To use the Hold It as a break away simply follow the directions for the easy away method.
