Just like all other HayBoss Feeders, the Junioris made of galvanized steel for maximum durability. The height of the floor can be adjusted to 12” or 29” from the ground. The netting is always kept taut at all times with spring loaded rollers. This also enables the feeder to be put on a fence line to feed two paddocks at once. Is Pawing A Problem?
 Our "Adjustable Heights" Offer a Real Solution!
The HayBoss™ feeder was intentionally designed with 2 adjustable heights to 
address any pawing concerns. A small percentage of horses getting used to 
net feeding may paw in frustration (this could result in a hole in the
 netting). If you feel one of your animals is doing this, you may want to 
adjust the feeder’s height to the top setting. Once the horses are 
comfortable with the feeder and you can see they have adjusted, feel free 
to change to your desired height.

Note: If you have a standard feeder and feeding round bales, we also have the optional Paw Bar Kit that can be attached to the feeder.

I have recently purchased the Junior Hay Boss Feeder, and it is one of the
best investments I have made for my horses. In the past we had tried using
 slow feeding nets, but my horses often tossed them over the fence to the
 neighbour’s horses and many of my nets went missing completely. They also

HayBoss Feeders™ is a family-owned company based in Edmonton, Alberta, with manufacturing facilities in both Canada and the United States. The feeders are built from galvanized steel framing engineered to stand up to horses, weather, and years of outdoor use.
