Where many supplements address only the stomach, SUCCEED is formulated to reach the whole system, the foregut and the hindgut alike. It works with the horse's own biology, supplying the nutrients a hard-working digestive tract draws down faster than forage and grain can replace.

Why does total digestive health matter so much?

Performance horses live in a way nature never intended. Stall confinement, intermittent feeding, high-grain rations, travel, and competition stress all pull against a gut that evolved to graze and move almost constantly. The result shows up as inconsistent appetite, dull coat, edgy behavior, loss of condition, and a horse that simply does not feel right.

Because roughly 80 percent of a horse's immune system interacts with the digestive system, gut health is not a niche concern, it underpins overall wellness, resilience to stress, and the ability to train and recover. SUCCEED is designed to support the gastrointestinal lining, reinforce the protective mucus barrier, encourage a balanced hindgut microbiome, and supply the building blocks the body uses for cellular repair.

What is actually inside SUCCEED?

SUCCEED relies on natural, oat-derived ingredients chosen for specific jobs along the digestive tract. Oat flour, rich in beta glucan, helps moderate the rate of digestion so starches are broken down properly in the foregut instead of overloading the hindgut. Oat oil, processed to retain its polar lipids, supports the integrity of the gut lining and the transfer of nutrients into the bloodstream.

Beyond the oats, irradiated dried yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) contributes beta glucan and mannan oligosaccharides that act as prebiotics for beneficial hindgut bacteria. L-threonine supports the mucin that forms the gut's protective barrier, while L-glutamine helps maintain the tight junctions between intestinal cells and supplies an amino acid the body draws on heavily under stress. Together they target gut integrity, microbial balance, and tissue repair, the foundations of digestive health.

How do you feed it day to day?

SUCCEED is built for simplicity. The top-dress granules come as one level scoop, 27 grams, applied directly on the feed once each day, no mixing and no additional ingredients required. For owners who prefer it, an oral paste delivers the same daily serving by syringe, either into the mouth or squeezed onto the feed immediately before eating.

To prime the digestive tract, the program calls for a double serving twice daily through the first 15 days, then a single daily serving for ongoing maintenance, given at the same feeding time each day. Servings scale with body size, from a half serving for ponies and foals up to one and a half or two servings for large draft horses. Owners are generally guided to expect changes within the first 30 days and the fullest effect by around 90 days. SUCCEED is available in its original formula through tack and feed retailers, and a veterinary formula is offered through veterinarians.
