We may not be one of the most widely known names in horse trailers, but we are one of the few known for high quality. Although our dealer network is concentrated in the northeastern states, our trailers do find their way to the Midwest and Southern parts of the United States. Two words: Fiberglass Roof!Ask a Cotner owner and they will tell you that the fiberglass roof will keep your trailer cooler. Our scientific data shows that a fiberglass roof is almost 10 degrees cooler on a hot summer day than an aluminum roof. The benefit of the lower interior temperature of the trailer will make your horse more comfortable and less likely to sweat. In addition, the fiberglass roof will not leak because of its uni-body construction. Its durability is second to none and will last for decades.

Is It True That Cotner Trailers Feature Spring Loaded Ramps That Are Comfortable For Horses and Easy For Humans?
You bet! This is another featured attraction of our superior trailers. Cotner Trailers have always featured the special design. All loading ramps are equipped with a fully adjustable ramp that can make raising and lowering the ramp so easy that an 80 year old can do it. This is true, one of our Fox hunting customers once commented that our spring loaded ramp enabled him to still ride at the young age of 80 years old. The ramp spring is easy to replace when the spring looses its proper tension.

Note: Also available is our low profile ramp design, the ramp is not as steep as the competition. This means that your horse is less likely to slip. We also us a skid resistant ramp mat that is second to none. And of course, our spring assist help you raise and lower the ramp with ease.

Lone Star:Our Lone Star is a one of a kind one horse trailer that features plenty of room for your horse. It is lightweight and can be pulled by a vehicle that has a 3500lbs tow capacity. This trailer features a 7’2” standard interior but can always be customized to 7’6” for your larger horse. The trailer features two escape doors and a spring loaded ramp. We only use Dexter Torsion axles and Goodyear radial tires on our trailers, which gives us the best tracking available, so you will less likely encounter trailer sway.

Royal Dressing Room: The Royal Dressing Room is our number one seller. Why, because of its large dressing room and its spacious horse area. Whether you own a Warmblood or a Standardbreed, your horse will fit in the 7’7” interior height stall area. The dressing room is one of the largest available and will hold all of your riding gear. Add a water tank and tack box to the dressing room and you still have plenty of room for your tack, saddles and buckets. Standard features include our fiberglass roof, aluminum exterior, Dexter Axles and brakes, Goodyear radial tires, ¾’ stall mats, spare tire, LED lights, padding, large escape doors, saddle racks, bridles and spring loaded ramp.

Ultra : The Ultra is perfect for the horse owner that does not need a dressing room but wants to bring along saddles, bridles, broom, shovel and some buckets. This spacious trailer features extra room in front of the horse to install our customer tack box, saddle racks, bridles and even the broom holder. With an interior height of 7’7”, this trailer holds even the Warmbloods. The weight of 2500lbs is perfect for the SUV or mid size pick up truck. Of course this trailer features our standard equipment of LED lights, Goodyear radial tires, ¾” thick stall mats, stall padding, spare tire, large escape doors, large windows and a rear ramp with spring assist.

Squire: This model is our longest running trailer in the Cotner line. This two horse trailer is lightweight, weighs less than 2300lbs, is spacious and includes all the features you need in a bumper pull two horse trailer. Rear ramp, two escape doors, large windows and an interior of 7’7” are all standard features. Don’t forget that LED lights, Goodyear radial tires, torsion axles, spare tire, stall padding and ¾” thick stall mats are all standard on our trailers, making this trailer one the best buys for the money!
