We rescued a horse back in 2014 that had horrible hoof problems; cracks, dry splitting, and so hard a shoe could not be nailed in. With 25 years as in the beauty business, as a nail technician, and a firm believer in all natural product. Lori brain stormed with a farrier and did a great deal research on hoof issues and hoof care products. Not being an enthusiast of petroleum or tar products on the market, she came up with a formula and gave it to the farrier to try; within one week the hooves where rehydrated and pliable and looking good. The farrier was impressed; our other rescue horse had different hoof problems, abscess in the hoof, the formula was adjusted by adding antifungal and antibacterial, essential oils. This formula cured the problem after just a few weeks. This is the formula packaged now and has been proven to be a staple in our barn as well as in other barns… Not only does it work on hoof issues, it works well on all minor wounds, rain rot, and other skin issues as well as grooming needs.
