What Are PreBiotics?

While most of the equine world recognizes the need for "probiotics" (the friendly microflora bacteria that aid horses in proper digestion), not as many owners are aware that "prebiotics" are needed to feed the microbiome and support the health of these good bacteria populations within the gut.
