Who are the Chandler brothers behind the brand?

The company was founded by three brothers, Matt, Trevor and Jeff Chandler, who were introduced to horses by their cowboy uncle and grew up "hooked on horses." Using money raised from a few calves on their grandmother's 2-acre property, they bought their first horse, named Buster, and built a homemade roping arena that became the inspiration for the business. Today Matt and Trevor Chandler own the Arizona operation while Jeffrey Chandler runs the Texas location, keeping the company family-owned with "boots on the ground" in both states.

The Solution Section (FAQ)
What is continuous fence and why is it popular for horse properties?

Continuous fence uses long steel rail panels that slide into one another to form a strong, uninterrupted run, making it a durable yet do-it-yourself option for arenas, pens, stalls, pastures, and perimeter fencing. Seven Peaks Fence and Barn builds its continuous fence panels from 1¼-inch 14-gauge round pipe, 20 ft long and 4 ft high, designed to mount a foot off the ground on wood or metal posts to make a 5-ft fence.

Do I have to weld continuous fencing to install it?

No — that is the appeal of a no-weld system. With Seven Peaks Fence and Barn continuous fence you simply attach the first panel to your post with clips and screws, slide the next panel's male end into it, and repeat for as long as you need; welding is optional if you prefer it. The company designs the system to be affordable and easy enough that, in their words, a 15-year-old can do it.

How much do steel fence panels and stall kits cost?

Pricing from Seven Peaks Fence and Barn includes 4-rail continuous panels at $130 each and 5-rail at $150 each (each 20 ft long by 48 inches high). Stall/corral kits run from $640 for a Standard 4-rail 10x20 up to $1,025 for a Heavy Duty 6-rail 10x20, and 20x20 kits range from $825 to $1,350; side-by-side and round-pen configurations are also priced on their products page.

Do I need to coat or paint steel fence to prevent rust?

It depends on your climate. Seven Peaks Fence and Barn products are made of bare metal; in dry regions like Arizona many customers leave them uncoated and enjoy the patina look, while owners in wetter or more humid areas may choose a one-time coating to protect the raw steel. It is easy to do and well worth it where there's moisture.

Is no-climb wire fencing safer for horses?

Yes — no-climb wire is designed so horses can't get a hoof through it. Seven Peaks Fence and Barn no-climb fencing uses closely spaced 12-gauge vertical wires that prevent hooves from catching (reducing injury) while also deterring predators, and it's built to withstand pressure without sagging. It comes in 4-ft and 5-ft tall options in 100-ft rolls.

What can I use for portable stalls when traveling with my horse?

Travel panels give your horse a secure 'home away from home' at shows and on the road, where it can lie down, roll, eat, drink, and rest. Seven Peaks Fence and Barn travel panels are sturdy, light, and easy to set up, so your horse arrives relaxed and rested.

What is Seven Peaks Fence and Barn?
Seven Peaks Fence and Barn is a family-owned manufacturer and supplier of do-it-yourself, no-weld steel fencing for horses and livestock. Founded by the three Chandler brothers, the company sells continuous fence, horse and corral panels, gates, stalls, round pens, arenas and hardware direct to ranchers and horse owners nationwide. They operate from two locations, in Mesa, Arizona and Godley, Texas.
How does the no-weld fencing system work?
Each continuous fence panel has a male end that slides into the open end of the next panel, so no welding is needed to join sections. You attach a panel to a wood or metal post with clips and screws, slide the next panel into it, and continue down the line. Welding is optional rather than required, which makes the system genuinely DIY-friendly for anyone who can use basic tools.
Who founded Seven Peaks Fence and Barn?
The company was founded by three brothers: Matt, Trevor and Jeff Chandler. Their cowboy uncle introduced them to horses as kids, and using money from raising a few calves on their grandmother's 2-acre property they bought their first horse, Buster, and built a homemade roping arena. That arena became the inspiration for starting the fencing business.
What are the continuous fence panel sizes and prices?
Continuous fence panels are 20 feet long and 4 feet high, built from 14-gauge, 1 1/4 inch OD round tubing. The 4-rail option is $129.00 (89 lbs), the 5-rail is $153.00 (109 lbs) and the 6-rail is $177.00 (128 lbs). All three rail counts ship in 1–2 weeks or can be picked up at the Godley, Texas location.
What gauge steel does Seven Peaks use?
Seven Peaks builds its panels, gates and kits from heavy-duty 14-gauge steel tubing. The continuous fence and many horse panels use 1 1/4 inch outside-diameter round pipe. The heavier construction is designed to stand up to horses, cattle and weather over the long term.
What products does Seven Peaks Fence and Barn sell?
The catalog includes continuous fence, horse and corral panels, livestock panels, goat panels, swing gates, bow gates, panel/gate combos and travel panel sets. They also sell complete kits for stalls, round pens, riding arenas, roping arenas, livestock pens and handling systems. Supporting items include posts and braces, caps, hinges, latches, connectors, bolts and screws, stock tanks, feeders, cattle chutes, roping chutes, roping dummies, tools and apparel.
How much do horse panels cost?
Ten-foot horse panels start at $97.00 for the 4 Rail Standard (52 lbs) and $114.00 for the 5 Rail Standard (61 lbs). Heavy-duty versions are $153.00 for the 5 Rail Heavy Duty (79 lbs) and $185.00 for the 6 Rail Heavy Duty (95 lbs). All are built from 14-gauge steel; panel clamps are sold separately.
Do they offer financing?
Yes. Seven Peaks advertises financing available starting as low as $10/month, making it easier to spread the cost of a larger fencing or arena project. This is offered alongside their published, upfront panel and kit pricing so buyers can budget the whole job.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at $3–$4 per loaded mile and the company ships nationwide. Local customers can also pick up orders directly at the Arizona or Texas locations to avoid freight. Most panel orders ship within 1–2 weeks.
Where is Seven Peaks Fence and Barn located?
There are two locations. The Arizona store is at 1017 South Center Street, Mesa, AZ 85210, open Monday–Friday 8am–4pm MST. The Texas store is at 9601 Country Road 1004, Godley, TX 76044, open Monday–Friday 8am–4pm CDT.
What are the phone numbers for each location?
The Arizona (Mesa) location can be reached at (480) 246-6237. The Texas (Godley) location can be reached at (817) 398-5029. Both stores keep weekday business hours and can help with kit configuration and order pickup.
Can I build a round pen or arena from their kits?
Yes. Seven Peaks offers pre-configured kits for round pens, riding arenas and roping arenas, so you can order all the panels, gates and hardware for the job at once. The kit approach removes the guesswork of figuring out how many panels and connectors you need. The brothers' own homemade roping arena was the project that started the company.
What livestock and goat panel options are available?
Livestock panels combine steel rails with welded wire: a small 10' × 4' panel with 3 rails plus 4×4 welded wire on the bottom 3' runs $147.85, and a large 10' × 5' panel with 3 rails plus 2×4 welded wire on the bottom 4' runs $205.76. There is also a 7-rail goat panel (10' × 4', 14-gauge) at $140.00. These suit owners running cattle, sheep, goats or mixed livestock.
Do I need any special tools or welding skills to install the fence?
No welding skills are required, which is the core of the Seven Peaks design. Panels connect with clips and screws to wood or metal posts using common hand tools, and the male-to-female slide-fit joins sections together. This makes it practical for horse owners to fence their own property rather than hiring a specialized crew.
What does the WESTERN value system mean at Seven Peaks?
Seven Peaks frames its mission around the word WESTERN: Wowing customers, Exploring new ideas, Striving for excellence, Taking challenges head on, Embracing change, Reaching new heights together, and Never giving up. It reflects the family's ranch-rooted lifestyle and how they approach customer service and product quality. The values tie directly back to the brothers' cowboy upbringing.
Is Seven Peaks Fence and Barn a manufacturer or a reseller?
It is a true manufacturer. The company fabricates its panels and gates in-house across more than 26,000 square feet of manufacturing space with 12 acres of storage. Buying direct from the maker means customers deal with the family and their team rather than a middleman reseller.
How long has Seven Peaks Fence and Barn been in business?
The company has served horse and livestock owners since around 2017, growing from the Chandler brothers' first homemade arena to serving thousands of customers nationwide. It started in Arizona and later expanded with a second location in Godley, Texas. The business remains family-owned and operated by the three brothers today.
