Dear Trails West,
First let me tell you we love the extra width of the trailer interior compared to that of the 2001 models. We also love the size of your stalls. Stall size was one of the determining factors in choosing our trailer. We found many high end trailers that had narrow stalls. Their trailers sure looked good, but we doubted our horses would travel as comfortable as they do in our Trails West. The quality of your paint is also commendable. It was another reason we chose the Trails West over other brands. But, as stated on the card, our primary consideration for choosing Trails West was the price. We were able to add many options to our trailer and still keep the total price well below some manufacturers' base prices. The friend that steered us in the direction of your brand told me to check out Trails West because we could get " a lot of trailer for the money." She was right.
In our trailer shopping experience we collected quite a few brochures on different brands, and I must say your brochure was the easiest to read, follow and understand. Each model had a definite list of standard features as well as options available, with pictures of most of them. I was able to call my dealer and find out what the base prices were for each model and what each available option would cost. From this information I was able to "build" many different trailers and know exactly what each would cost. This meant quite a lot to me. With the other trailer brands we looked at the dealers couldn't even furnish a complete list of available options, and they didn't have the option costs readily on hand. In my opinion you've smoked the competition in this area.
Since I brought our trailer home, I have taken it to two different horse shows. One was at quite a distance over a mountain pass, while the other was only 10 miles away. The trailer pulls fantastically. I am very pleased with the quality as you have probably figured out.
