About Kristen, Owner of Champion Horse blankets...
Says Kristen (pronounced "Kiersten"), owner: I have been involved with horses my entire life. As a young kid I competed in the Hunters and some Three Day Eventing. I have been involved in the horse industry, while not being able to ride as much any more, by offering bording horses, giving beginner riding lessons, offering lease horses for people who cannot afford to purchase one and am very passionate about breeding. I have owned several horses over the years and now currently own a few different horses in a range of breeds, however my focus in breeding Hanovariens. I love that I am able to do this at my home barn now and this is what made it possible for me to take the plung into this new venture! When I had the chance to own Champion Horse Blankets- I grabbed it. It is a dream come true, a labor of love and becoming friends with my clients means the world to me, as well it allows me the chance to continue to grow the brand with ideas that I have incorporated in my other business, Mountainview Horse Blanket Laundry and Repair. Champion Horse Blankets is a very PERSONAL company and we are here for the long haul! Our standards were so high, the workmanship and designs are amazing— best of all, this is all packaged with the horses comfort and affordability in mind!

We work closely with our manufacturer, allowing us to have more quality control and save you money by cutting out the middle man. The colors are chosen by YOU, the owner, and the plan is to expand our product line over the next few years. Champion Blankets are all very waterproof and are all 1200 Denier to ensure they stand up to the elements and your playful horses! Is It True That Champion Horse Blankets Also Has a Cleaning and Repair Service?
Yes! Kristen also owns Mountainview Horse Blanket Laudry and Repair! What started out as a small business just helping out friends in need has turned into a great way to offer, local clientel, a way to keep their new Champion Blankets in the best possible shape possible. We offer wash, waterproofing and repairing off all types of riding apparel but specialize in the Horse Blankets. We only use products meant for horse blankets (breathable and waterproof materials) and we also offer repairs with professional grade cordova to match the quality of the blankets being reapired, buckles, webbing and threads.

What If I Need Custom Sizes?
We can offer some alterations to the sizing as well and if we have the material need we can also offer new blankets in the mini sizes and are looking at a line of dog blankets as well. If it is not something we have here then we can definitly work with the manufacturer directly and get what you need.

Is There Group Pricing For Riding Clubs, Schools or Mounted Police Etc?
YES! Are you a part of a riding group, club, training stable or a instructor that wants their students to have the best? Our Group Pricing is available on orders of over 10 blankets. We ask that you e-mail us on large orders requests before ordering and we will put together a special price that is sure to put a smile on your face! We also welcome Horse Rescues to contact us for any needs - we will do our best to help out with new or used blankets when available!

What If I Want My Horse’s Name, Stable, or Training Facility Information Embroidered On?
We do work with a local company that can accommodate this - please note there are additional charges for any of these requests. Again, please e-mail us with any special inquiries and we will be happy to provide a quotation.

Are PONY or DRAFT Sized Blankets and Sheets Available?
Yes we do and they are very popular!! We can handle both pony and draft sizes— currently we carry a selection ranging from 54"-94". If you have a special need, just call us and we will do all we can to accomodate! Our new order accomodates sizes from 34' to 96'. With a full range of blankets in the ponies where we currently only offer rainsheets in the pony blankets.

What About Neck Covers and Coolers?
We have them! COOLERS to absorb moisture from the Horse's skin, satin lining on the chest.
All coolers have adjustable double front buckles, shoulder gussets, single surcingle and adjustable leg straps. You'll love our NECK COVERS to protect your horses beautiful mane.

What About Fly Sheets and Masks?
In the new order we also have a full range(from mini to draft) in the full neck sheets, and the much anticipated fly sheets the extra UV Protection added. Another new addition to the blankets is High Viz piping!

How Long Does A Typical Order Take?
MOST orders are shipped within 48 hours as we keep a nice selection "in stock" for our most popular sizes and items. When we order direct from our manufacturer it takes approximately 3 months to receive to our warehouse. We work hard to have the product available to you online within the same week. That being said if you order online and we have it in stock the order will be shipped to you within 48 hours (usually quicker).
