The World's Best Lycra - We use top quality, 4 way stretch Lycra. Many of "the others" use only 2 way stretch Lycra. 2 way stretch Lycra is cheaper, but the fit you get leaves a lot to be desired.
Self Healing Coil Zippers - they make for easy on and off, and they reshape themselves every time you zip them.
Nylon Zipper Covers - protects the zipper from stall door rub.
No Center Seam Over Horses Neck - seams over manes rub them out!
Center Yoke - the center yoke costs a little more, but it's a major factor in comfort and fit. Once you've used them, you won't be happy without them.
ABS Buckles - indestructible buckles instead of Velcro that snags garment, and loads with debris.
Stretchable Seams - All Lycra garments are assembled using a special sewing process that makes seams stretchable as well. They simply will not come unraveled!

6 oz Lycra: We only use superior quality 6.2 oz.4-way stretchnylon Lycra to ensurethe fit is correct. It isbreathable,smooth– bedding won’t stick,polishes hair coat, keeps your horse from fading while offersprotection from biting insects.

10 oz Tough Spandex

This fabric is a 10 oz. 4-way stretch Heavy Weight Nylon- Spandex. It's super tough, rip and tear resistant and fits like it's been painted on!Translation:You'll get more bang for your buck because it'sWarmer,Heavier, andTougher! Perfect for the customers who think regular Lycra horse hoods are too fragile!

Arctic Fleeceis one of the most technical fabrics ever developed!

Arctic Fleece has special characteristics which features body-hugging 4-way stretch and is very breathable. It maintains the horse's body heat and wicks away moisture from the hair coat keeping your horse warm and comfortable without the weight. Arctic Fleece is not water proof but performs perfectly in colder weather. Technically speaking, it is superior to polar fleece, which often attracts bedding material and dirt.

Kook Stretch Mesh

Kool Stretch Mesh horse hood is a nylon Lycra 4-way stretch fabric for summer time. The state of the art Stretch Mesh fabric is highly breathable so releases body heat, will keep your horse from fading, taming the mane while offering relief from biting insects. If your horse is going to be in the direct sun the color White or Tan is the coolest. The darker colors should only be worn inside out of the direct sun.
