The Solution Section (FAQ)
What is CEECOACH™ designed for?
CEECOACH™ is a hands-free communication device that uses Bluetooth® technology for private, quality communication between trainers and riders. It allows instructors to speak to students in the riding ring without shouting across the arena.
Who makes CEECOACH™?
CEECOACH™ is made by Peiker Acoustic, Inc., a family-operated company and a leading global supplier of mobile communication technology. Peiker employs nearly 900 people worldwide and credits its decades-long tradition of excellence and unified vision: People. Innovation. Ingenuity.
How does CEECOACH™ price compare to alternative trainer-rider communication systems?
Per the source: competitor systems for similar use cases sell at over $1000, while CEECOACH™ is priced as a fraction of the price — with quality, ease of use, and dependability to match.
Can CEECOACH™ handle group lessons, or just one-to-one?
Both. CEECOACH™ supports group communication as well as individual communication — useful for clinics, group lessons in the ring, or one-on-one instruction.
Why does CEECOACH™ matter for student learning?
Per the source: riding students get a better quality lesson when their instructor isn't worried about shouting directions or embarrassing a student in front of a crowd. The hands-free private channel keeps instruction clear and personal.
What is CEECOACH?
CEECOACH is a hands-free group communication device that lets trainers and riders talk to each other wirelessly over Bluetooth. It is made by Peiker, a renowned German communications manufacturer, and is designed so a coach can speak in a normal voice and be heard clearly across an arena or out on the trail. It works without WiFi, a cell signal, or any mobile network.
How many people can connect to one CEECOACH group?
It depends on the model. CEECOACH 1 and CEECOACH 2 connect 2-6 people in a single group, which suits most lesson and small-clinic settings. CEECOACH PLUS expands that dramatically, linking 2 to 16 participants at once, making it ideal for large clinics, vaulting teams, and group cross-country sessions.
What is the range of CEECOACH?
CEECOACH 1 and CEECOACH 2 reach up to 500 meters, while the flagship CEECOACH PLUS extends to about 700 meters. That distance comfortably covers a full dressage court, a jumping course, or extensive cross-country terrain, so the rider stays connected even at the far end of the property.
How long does the CEECOACH battery last?
CEECOACH 1 and CEECOACH 2 deliver up to 10 hours of talk time on a charge, with a standby time of about 3 days. CEECOACH PLUS nearly doubles that, with up to 18 hours of talk time and roughly 3.5 days of standby. The 1 and 2 charge in about 4 hours via micro USB, while PLUS charges in about 3 hours via USB-C.
Do I need WiFi or a cell signal to use CEECOACH?
No. CEECOACH connects directly device-to-device over Bluetooth, so it works with no WiFi, no mobile data, and no cellular coverage at all. That makes it reliable in remote arenas, back pastures, and trail settings where phone signal is weak or nonexistent.
Is CEECOACH hands-free, or do I have to press a button to talk?
It is fully hands-free and open two-way. There are no push-to-talk buttons to manage mid-ride; the conversation flows both directions at once in duplex audio. Not only can the trainer speak to the riders, but riders can also talk to each other and back to the trainer naturally.
What is the difference between CEECOACH 1, 2, and PLUS?
CEECOACH 1 (from $221.00) connects 2-6 riders over 500 meters with 10 hours of talk time using wired headsets only. CEECOACH 2 (from $275.00, originally $449.00) adds Bluetooth headset support over the same range and capacity. CEECOACH PLUS (from $325.00, originally $775.00) handles up to 16 riders across 700 meters, runs 18 hours, charges over USB-C, and carries a fully waterproof IP67 rating.
How much does CEECOACH cost?
On ceecoach-us.com, CEECOACH 1 starts at $221.00, CEECOACH 2 starts at $275.00 (marked down from $449.00), and CEECOACH PLUS starts at $325.00 (down from $775.00). Bundles such as the CEECOACH 2 Turquoise or White Duo plus Outdoor Kit are priced at $484.20 (from $538.00). Prices and sale status should be confirmed on the official store at checkout.
Is CEECOACH waterproof?
The level of protection depends on the model. CEECOACH 1 and 2 carry an IP44 rating, meaning they resist splashing water and dust during normal barn and arena use. CEECOACH PLUS steps up to a full IP67 rating, which means it is waterproof to one meter for up to 30 minutes, so rain or a wash-stall splash is no concern.
What headsets work with CEECOACH?
CEECOACH supports wired headsets with a standard 3.5 mm jack, and CEECOACH 2 and PLUS also support Bluetooth headsets. The U.S. store offers a CEECOACH Earbud Headset, a Double Ear Swivel Over-Ear, and a Jabra Active Headset, each at $35.00. Peiker also promotes bone-conduction Shokz headsets for equestrian use so riders keep their ears open to the horse and surroundings.
Can CEECOACH be used for longeing and lunging lessons?
Yes, this is one of its most popular uses. On the longe line the rider is often too far away to hear quiet corrections clearly, and CEECOACH closes that gap entirely. The trainer can give soft, continuous guidance through transitions and tempo changes without raising their voice or breaking the horse's concentration.
Which equestrian disciplines is CEECOACH used for?
CEECOACH is used across dressage, show jumping, cross-country and eventing, vaulting, and general flatwork and lesson programs. Its long range makes it especially valuable for jumping courses and cross-country, where horse and rider cover large distances. It is also used well beyond riding, in water sports, winter sports, biking, hiking, and industrial settings.
Do professional riders actually use CEECOACH?
Yes. Eight-time Olympic dressage champion Isabell Werth describes precise, quiet communication with her riders and team as essential and calls CEECOACH clear, reliable, and without distraction. Olympic squad member Calvin Boeckmann values the uninterrupted connection in extensive terrain, and jumping trainer Lars Meyer zu Bexten relies on staying clearly and uninterruptedly connected when timing and precision matter most.
What is CEECALM?
CEECALM is a separate product in the Peiker equestrian line, priced at $60.00 (from $68.00). It is an acoustic horse-calming device designed to soothe nervous or anxious horses. It complements the CEECOACH communication system as part of Peiker's broader equine wellness ecosystem.
What is CEEFIT?
CEEFIT is Peiker's equine fitness-monitoring line. The CEEFIT Sensor ($355.00, from $425.00) and the CEEFIT Pulse & ECG Girth ($199.00, from $325.00) track a horse's heart rate and ECG data, and the CEEFIT Bundle pairs both for $554.00 (from $610.00). It lets riders objectively measure conditioning and recovery alongside CEECOACH's communication tools.
Where can I buy CEECOACH and what about warranty or replacement batteries?
CEECOACH is available directly from the official U.S. store at ceecoach-us.com, which also lists a dealer network, refurbished units, and a shipping, returns, and warranty page. Replacement batteries are available for $65.00 (CEECOACH 1 & 2) and $75.00 (PLUS), and accessories like the $89.00 Outdoor Kit extend the system. For questions, contact
